Worst night ever :0(

Sophie (4) has been ill for a few day's with a cough. On Thursday she had a temperature of 39 after nursery so we gave her some calpol she asked to go to bed at about 6.30.we keep ed checking her before we went to bed and gave more calpol.Anyway at 2am we got woken up by her screaming like I've Never heard before, I thought someone was in the house.Simon got to her first but she didn't recognise him, I got hold of her and hugged her holding her close to me I thought she must have had a really bad dream but then she keep ed looking around like she could see things and went back to being a baby screaming so much every time she thought she saw something coming near her, she just wasn't right.Simon called for an ambulance and I went with her to hospital. They said she has a virile infection and when the temperature goes to high you can start to hallucinate. The temperature went back down. They said to take her home and to let the doctor know in the morning. So I took her to the doctors and he said the same thing and that the infection can affect the brain (that's why she saw things).I have to keep an eye on her temperature.I had the day off work today to look after her. She is so scared all the time now looking round all the time, she can remember all of it and won't go to the toilet on her own.I'm just so glad I have my little girl back, she is still ill and scared but going to be OK.
